Our Story

Trystan Harries grew up on a family farm in the rolling hills of Carmarthenshire in South West Wales. This gave him a keen interest in machinery from a young age, whether that be hay making in the summer months, helping his grandfather plant potatoes or tearing up the countryside on a quad bike with his brothers.

The business started more like a hobby but in 2018 he took the plunge, going solo, setting up West Wales Plant Ltd. The business offers a wide range of used plant and agricultural machinery. It supplies both UK and worldwide buyers, regularly sourcing and exporting to Europe and beyond.

Trystan prides himself in being an approachable and knowledgable dealer, offering potential buyers tailored advice as to appropriate machines suitable to both their experience and desired use.

In his spare time, Trystan enjoys spending time with his expanding young family, where he hopes the next generation will continue his passion.
